Salute consists of "dipping" the Canadian flag (holding it so not to flutter), with the Skipper and crew facing starboard with hats removed.

Protocol dictates that until the Sailpast is completed, only the flagship may be dressed (strung with flags). However, after the Sailpast, all yachts are encouraged to dress ship. So get out your flags !
